E. Lockhart Reveals the Cover for New Novel We Fell Apart — Plus New Deluxe Editions! (Exclusive)

E. Lockhart’s highly anticipated novel We Fell Apart is on its way — and has quite the mysterious cover to match.

PEOPLE can exclusively reveal the cover for the psychological thriller, a companion novel to Lockhart bestselling book We Were Liars — along with the new deluxe edition covers for We Were Liars and Family of Liars.

We Fell Apart is a psychological suspense novel that will explore “themes of privilege, family legacy, freedom and parental abandonment," according to the publisher. The novel will interweave “stories of present characters with those who came before them” — from We Were Liars and Family of Liars — thus “interconnecting the story of the Sinclair family with a new ensemble of personalities.”

And as if the new books weren't enough, the series is coming to the screen too.

“I am so psyched to have helped bring the Sinclair family to Prime Video this summer and to reveal more of their secrets with We Fell Apart,” Lockhart tells PEOPLE, in a statement. “This new book offers new characters, new family tragedies and a huge new love story, while opening up the world I built in the first two books. The new book and new editions will arrive ahead of the premiere of Amazon's new show We Were Liars, which is based on the book of the same name and scheduled to release in Spring 2025. The company completed filming for the new show over the summer of 2024.

We Fell Apart will hit shelves on Nov. 4 and is available now for preorder, wherever books are sold.
