  2. Hello,

You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

The worst part for them Democrats is there’s no logical argument against it. Saw that there was a huge increase in DC of people Googling defense attorneys. That in itself speaks volumes

DOGE Has Arrived at the IRS
    Katie Pavlich | February 14, 2025 11:30 AM

Elon Musk and his Department of Government Efficiency team have arrived at the Internal Revenue Service and Democrats aren't happy about it.

    Ron Wyden
NEW: My office is hearing that DOGE is now at the IRS. That means Musk's henchmen are in a position to dig through a trove of data about every taxpayer in America. And if your refund is delayed, they could very well be the reason.

President Donald Trump previewed the move earlier this week from the Oval office.

"The IRS will be looked at like everybody else. Just about everybody will be looked at," Trump said.

According to the Government Accoutability Office, there's plenty of waste, fraud and abuse to go after at the tax agency, in addition to massive efficiency issues with a need to modernize.

"The Internal Revenue Service relies extensively on IT systems to collect taxes and distribute refunds. In August 2022, Congress appropriated tens of billions of dollars to the IRS, partly to help the agency modernize its IT systems. The IRS intends to use some of these funds to replace legacy IT systems, give taxpayers more online tools and services, and protect taxpayer privacy and security. However, the agency hasn't fully updated its plans to incorporate these additional funds. For example, the IRS needs to make changes to the scope and milestones of its IT modernization programs," a January 2025 report from GAO states. "GAO is making three recommendations to IRS to complete a technology roadmap, update individual modernization plans, and improve its reporting on modernization progress."

During an interview with Fox News Tuesday night, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent explained how he plans to improve the agency on behalf of taxpayers.

I believe I can comment in for this, DOGE has found so much waste and corruption already without laying blame on anyone yet I hope that’s coming as well. Have heard comments on cutting Medicaid, social securityand late income tax refunds to name a few which is nothing more than fear mongering. The Dems loved Trump when he was paying them off to further his business agenda. Now that he wants to cut off their money spigot they have an issue. Why is it so hard to look after the American people first and foremost. We pay for everything. The government has no income other than the American taxpayer yet we are the ones that are left out of every conversation.

I'm wondering when DOGE is going to do an audit on Musk.

Here's a kicker, trump is famous for saying electric cars are trash and he'd love to kill the industry....BUT soon he'll be awarding Musk a $400 million dollars contract to make Tesla Electric Armoured Vehicles.

And I'm sure very soon all of trump's billionaire friends will be given a massive tax cut....I guarantee MAGA will stay shtoom about that.

Now that will be a gigantic waste of money

      Hey Maggie, did you hear?
Trump reversed the brandon mandate about electrical vehicles being the only vehicle sold in the US in the next decade.

      So much for your bullshit.

Is that because the oil industry wouldn't give trump a billion dollar bribe he asked for to kill the EV industry.

DOGE says it dug up another $1.9 billion in taxpayer money 'misplaced' by Biden admin
Announcement comes a day after HUD Secretary Scott Turner announced the creation of a DOGE Task Force at his agency
    By Louis Casiano
    Published February 14, 2025

The Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), the Elon Musk-led group tasked with eliminating wasteful spending, on Friday said it found $1.9 billion that was misplaced by the Biden administration.

The funds were from the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and have been recovered.

"$1.9 billion of HUD money was just recovered after being misplaced during the Biden administration due to a broken process. These funds were earmarked for the administration of financial services, but were no longer needed," a DOGE post on X stated.

HUD Secretary Scott Turner worked with DOGE to "fix the issue" and "de-obligated the funds which are now available for other use by the Treasury."

On Thursday, Turner announced the creation of a DOGE task force within his agency.

"We will be very detailed and deliberate about every dollar spent in serving tribal, rural and urban communities across America," he said in a video posted on X.

Turner said his team had identified $260 million in savings just two days prior. DOGE has identified billions of dollars in questionable spending.

With the help of DOGE, Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Administrator Lee Zeldin said he has canceled a Biden-era $50 million environmental justice grant to an organization that believes "climate justice travels through a Free Palestine."

The EPA also sent $160 million to a Canadian electric bus manufacturer under the Biden administration, Zeldin said during a Thursday appearance on "The Story with Martha MacCallum." He noted that the Biden administration sent the full amount to the manufacturer, rather than making payments along the way as school buses were being produced.

Since receiving the money, he added, the company has declared bankruptcy.

I would end this post with a gif of that beer ad in which an actor pronounces "Brilliant!" in response to the new beer. Because the situation reported yesterday is such a "Brilliant!" case. But I don't know how. This comes from Fortune magazine.

Dismissed nuclear bomb specialists recalled by Energy Department

By Ari Natter and Bloomberg. February 14, 2025 at 7:04 PM EST

The Energy Department is seeking to bring back nuclear energy specialists after abruptly telling hundreds of workers that their jobs were eliminated, according to two people familiar with the matter. The employees, responsible for designing and maintaining the nation’s cache of nuclear weapons at the National Nuclear Safety Administration, (NNSA), were part of a larger wave of workers dismissed from the Energy Department, drawing alarm from national security experts. Between 300 and 400 NNSA workers were terminated, according to a person familiar with the matter.

The agency’s quick reversal was announced Friday in an all-staff meeting. The NNSA is seeking to recall the workers because they deal with sensitive national security secrets, according to the people, who weren’t authorized to talk about the matter, which is not public. Those cuts are especially concerning because the positions typically require high-level security clearances and training that can take 18 months or longer, said Jill Hruby, who served as the NNSA administrator during the Biden administration. “These people are likely never going to come back and work for the government,” Hruby said in a phone interview. “We’ve had a very active program requiring an increase to our staff so the indiscriminate layoffs of people will be really difficult for the coming years.”

The firings — part of a wave of terminations across the federal government this week spurred by Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency — underscore the chaos as the world’s richest man seeks to quickly overhaul the federal bureaucracy in Trump’s image. The NNSA firings were part of a wider swath of dismissals across the Energy Department, which included employees at the Loan Programs Office, a recently formed unit to fund clean energy projects, the group responsible for preventing cyberattacks against the power grid, and the department’s general counsel office.
The Energy Department and the NNSA did not respond to requests for comment.

    Nuclear Programs

The NNSA is a semi-autonomous arm of the Energy Department responsible for producing and dismantling nuclear weapons, providing the Navy with nuclear reactors for submarines and responding to radiological emergencies, among other duties. The agency also plays a role a key role in counter-terrorism, transporting nuclear weapons around the country and responding to nuclear incidents around the world. Recent focuses have included examining how AI can be used to make it potentially easer for people to make nuclear bombs, Hruby said. “These are areas where we’ve been concerned and staffed up to respond to that,” Hruby said. “These are working with high skill-levels that are willing to work around-the-clock if needed.”

Trump administration wants to un-fire nuclear safety workers but can’t figure out how to reach them
By Peter Alexander and Alexandra Marquez. Feb. 15, 2025, 12:22 PM EST / Updated Feb. 15, 2025, 6:33 PM EST

WASHINGTON — National Nuclear Security Administration officials on Friday attempted to notify some employees who had been let go the day before that they are now due to be reinstated — but they struggled to find them because they didn’t have their new contact information. In an email sent to employees at NNSA and obtained by NBC News, officials wrote, “The termination letters for some NNSA probationary employees are being rescinded, but we do not have a good way to get in touch with those personnel.”

The Department of Energy did not immediately respond to an NBC News request for comment.

President Donald Trump’s administration has acted with unprecedented speed — and in some cases, questionable legality — in seeking to cut large portions of the federal government, laying off staff and ending contracts. But that speed has resulted in complications, including firing people agencies actually want to keep.

An NNSA nuclear safety specialist fired Thursday because she was a two-year probationary employee told NBC News she was still locked out of her email, but her manager had called to inform her that her “termination was rescinded” and to report to work on Tuesday. “I will be honest, I intend to keep looking for work,” the employee said. “I will go back, but as soon as I find another role, I’ll be leaving.” Asked why she will still look for employment elsewhere, she said that she has “no faith I will keep my job.”
    "

In the meantime, US nuclear sites are less secure because one of the roles the fired NNSA workers had was securing nuclear assets. And the US has no 'eyes' on nuclear sites abroad because the NNSA also monitored foreign nuclear assets. For example, the Chernobyl site in Ukraine that Putin attacked with a drone a few days ago.

The problem is DOGE probably does not know what each department in government does fully, some are a waste of money. But nuclear safety affects everyone all over the world ,Chernobyl proves that the radiation does stay in your country.

You want proof? All you need to do is follow the money.....

DOGE has been very transparent to date.

They have provided evidence to support all the waste they have found.
