There are no 'tips' (like the 'secret' ways that no one else knows that will help you become an American).

I suggest you go to your local embassy and ask what the quotas are for Estonians coming to the United States. I have no idea what they are (maybe someone else here knows), but you will probably be put on a waiting list and it could take years before you can migrate for the purpose of settling here.

Once you are living here, you would be under resident alien status, meaning you would have to register annually with the U.S. government, but you can apply for citizenship (which I believe currently takes seven years). You will have to take citizenship classes and pass what is essentially a civics test. If you do, then you will be a naturalized citizen.

If you want to do this, don't hold your breath, because the whole perocess will take at least 10 years.

Oh, I should have added that there are a number of Estonians playing basketball in the U.S., both in college and in the pros, so if you are at least 6'10" and athletic, the process would probably be a lot faster.

No, my friend, Green card status is Lawful, permanent full time residence in the USA, beyond this is US citizenship but if you have a Green card really you don't need to have citizenship to stay permanently........

People who play basketball in the U.S. are not necessarily U.S. citizens, or even on a path to citizenship. But I do agree that it would probably help streamline the process.
