I have not watched the video because service on my phone sucks where I am, but any type of video can be made nowadays that looks authentic but is merely a 12 year old with video editing software, so unless the source is extremely reliable or very well known media i would not put all my chickens in that basket... Just sayin......

 

if the video is legit that makes the stores owner a liar that filed a false police report
when this all started the stores owner reported a strong arm robbery and assault and now he recants?
that smells as bad as week old fish heads in the hog traps

but then there was still the assault of the store clerk and the witness that gave a statement that even the clerk claimed that the items were stolen
then you have the fact that brown and friend were blocking traffic and the new witnesses are saying that brown looked like he was high or something when he was assaulting the officer
they also stated that brown actually charged the officer and that is when he was shot

Over an hour ago Dan managed to capture video evidence of military jets circling the area. According to him, they looked like F-16′s. We suspect these aircraft are enforcing the no-fly zone which was declared days ago although this has not yet been confirmed.

Additionally, Governor Jay Nixon announced the deployment of the National Guard to Ferguson this morning.

Ok that's fair enough. She does owe the money. But can I ask you one question? If you owed close to half a million dollars when would you get it paid off? How long would it take you?

 

When you do get the chance come back and take a look at this. And just remember no matter how compelling the evidence seems at first don't ever just believe it.

 

One thing I do need to do here is correct and retract. I like a lot of people made a jump to conclusions by taking an off handed comment from a press conference and then treating it as truth because it was at least debatable. But once the video was enhanced and compared to Micheal Brown in the street there is no doubt those are the same person.

Now the video may not prove what the police says it does but that is not my problem. My problem was confusing the issues and the people involved which I apologize for.

First off the rifles the police and military use do not fire on full auto like in the movies they fire a three round burst.
Second if any police force is equipped with them they should be trained in there use.
Third not every officer has them. They have their pistols and shotguns.
Fourth I said military vehicles as in unarmed armored cars. Vehicles they can put between shooters and the people trapped by their fire.
Finally if something has happened once it can happen again. After all that incident wasn't the first time someone has had people trapped by gun fire.
Ever hear of Charles Whitman the man that is the reason we have SWAT teams.

Yeah i know, i learned a long time ago there is some really good talent out there that can make some jam up video, but they can also be good liars too. So i am usually cautious about 'video' evidence.

 

I believe a swat team should be heavily armed for things like that, i will not argue with that. But when a school resource officer shows up at my kids school with all that crap on it pisses me off and it's completely unnecessary. In a nutshell all i am saying is arm the right ones, not everybody with a badge which is already happening in some places.

 

In some schools an conventionally armed resource officer could a dead one, with many dead kids around him.

Doesn't matter how heavily armed a cop is, unless they are standing there in front of the suspect when they walk in chances are kids are going to die anyway. If they really cared about my kids they would let teacher and parents that have a CCWP carry a gun in a school zone. I bet you anything the criminal is not going to abide by that rul, so why make us defenseless? I guarantee you i see a man or kid with a gun heading into a school i will stop them if armed. If not armed all i can do is watch the blood bath. Cops are only good for identifying the bodies once it's over, a teacher or parent with a gun could mean all the difference in the world

 

The store owner has already had his store tore up and looted.. If the thugs did to him what they try to do to anyone who opposes them they have threatened him and his family. I can understand why he would want to distance himself from the thugs. He has to try to do business in the area. It won't happen as they will run him out, but he is trying.
